Dear respected active members of the WANS.
We are pleased and blessed to have your inspiring active presence and future dynamic academic commitment to the mission of the WANS’ assembly.
Unfortunately, few active members failed to attend the past several WANS’ conferences in a row and with no valid excuse. Therefore, the EC unanimously decided to implement the existing WANS bylaws referring to Article VIII / Section 2 – A ! Related to suspension of non-compliant active members. This will provide an opportunity for other potential talented candidate from these countries to join our prestigious Academy. Highly respected senior members may remain as active senior members (our treasure) or move to dormant retired seniors class.
Note: A suspended active member may retain the privilege to reapply again once a vacancy exists and his application is subject to the standard competitive voting system.
